It's not so much that I'm a Spurs fan, it's more than that I'm a Lakers hater. I'll admit it….I can't stand Karl Malone, GP has too big of a mouth and it's karma that his skills have fell off so rapidly that he's getting abused by mediocre PG's(Parker excluded). I actually like Shaq more now than I did say 2 or 3 yrs ago, but I truly can't stand Kobe.

So it caused me great joy to see the Lakers blow a 12 point lead in the last 5 mins of the 4th quarter and allow Tim Duncan to fluke the Spurs the lead with half a second left. But I knew….

Watching the game and seeing Kobe play all 48 mins and play at such a high level while exhausted I knew this was going to be a game for the ages. A game that had to go in the Lakers favour. It was one of those games that you'll see on NBATV 5 yrs from now and one of those games that will be used in arguments over Kobe's greatness. Such a game could not end on the Lakers losing the game on a TD fluke shot. You just had a feeling….I had a feeling.

When Duncan scored with 0.4 secs left, I knew the Lakers were going to win. I didn't know how, I didn't know by who, but I knew. And unfortunately I was proven correct. The announcer saw it coming too. He made a comment that 0.4 secs instead of 0.3 is a world of difference and he was right. 0.3 secs is not enough time for anyone to shoot a shot but 0.4 is enough time, just ask Derek Fisher.

I wonder if in the Pantheon of Faces, if there is a face for seeing your team(the team I'm cheering for) take the lead and knowing they are going to lose on a last second shot by the opposing team and seeing it come to fruition. Well if there isn't one, someone should have taken of photo of my face.

I really don't know how the Spurs recover from this one, I really don't. This had to really hurt. If they even give the Lakers a decent game in game 6 I'll be surprised…maybe that will be another face for the Pantheon??????
