For the weekend of Jan 10th/11th, I correctly picked 2 out of 4 games. I missed Carolina and Patriots.

Let’s look at the one game that hurt me:

1. Carolina beats St Louis

Mike Martz is a devout coward(I borrowed that from Matt Millen). Instead of punching the ball in the endzone and going for the win in the last few mins of the 4th quarter, he settles for overtime, loses the toss, lucks out when Carolina misses the winning FG, gets his team to drive the length of the field, plays conservative once he gets in extreme FG range, puts the pressure on his kicker to kick a 53 yarder which of course he misses, which added more fear to his defense, who played with fear, who played soft, so soft that they allowed a 69 yd catch and run TD by Carolina to win the game. Yes, that was the longest run-on sentence in the world. And Yes I can’t stand Martz, who is so over-rated. Is he smart? Yes. Even brilliant? Maybe. But put the spotlight on him he wilts like a dying flower.

Marshall Faulk dominated in the 4th quarter when he was given the ball but why didn’t he get the ball in the first three quarters? Faulk is arguably the best player in the game, so why not give him the ball as much as you can. When he touches the ball, more times than not great things happen. Same thing happened in the SuperBowl against the Patriots.

Mike Martz, is not only a devout coward, he’s the King of Idiots. He’s like a Rainman. He’s extremely smart, actually brilliant when it comes to football but retarded when it comes to starting Quarterback controversies, retarded when it comes to inacting what he planned for and retarded for his explanations as to why he went for the tying FG and not the win, or atleast try for the win………………………………………………………….. ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….(exhale!)

Yes, it’s just football but I like The Rams but I can’t stand the coach and he’s been over-rated ever since he won the SuperBowl as a offensive co-ordinator.

I’ll make my picks for the weekend on Friday.

This is Mularkey!!!! I can see the headlines in the Buffalo News when the Bills lose a game they should win. But more on that later.
